Woven Wishes

I had time to make another card today....yeah!!  I wanted to play along with two challenges; one is the CAS-ual Fridays Challenge....to use black and pastel colours.  The other is the challenge at Moxie Fab...to use paper scraps for your project.  My card uses paper scrap strips that are cut a quarter of an inch wide and woven through slits I made in the cardstock.  Had to fiddle with the strips a bit to get them to fit but it all worked out fine in the end.
Thanks so much for taking a look today.

Hello from a fellow Ontarian! This is such a neat technique! I bet it would be fairly easy to translate this into something with my Silhouette. So glad I saw this pin on Pinterest.

This is one of those things where you thump yourself on the forehead and say why couldn't I come up with something this fabulous!?! I see a lot of scraps being cut into strips in my very near future! :)

Love it! Saw it on Pinterest. I am not sure how you cut your slits, but I am hoping I can set it up on my Cricut. God Bless!
