Shaving Cream Stenciling

Cheers!
Hope you are having a great weekend.

Today, I am playing with shaving cream.  Not the gel but the foam kind...the cheapest kind you can find.  A bit messy but so, so fun.  I love playing with new techniques and if you have more re-inker then I do, you are all ready to go and can achieve amazing results.

I love the way the colors blend in the background so here is the link if you want to try it out.

I used a stencil from Simon Says, shaving cream and some Distress re-inkers.
I stamped the sentiment from Technique Tuesday using my Misti and splattered on some white acrylic paint to add to the snowflake theme.  Added the black gems to pull it all together.

Adding my card to these challenges:

Simon Says- THINKING OF YOU

A Bit More Time to Craft- ANYTHING GOES

Try it on Tuesday- HAND MADE BY YOU

Thanks so much for the visit today.

Supplies:  stamps- TT/ ink- Memento/ Distress re-inkers/ shaving cream/ stencil/ old credit card/ wh acylic paint/ black gems

  2. Wow! That looks like a fun thing to do. I certainly love the card you made with your snowflake design. Hubby has that type of shaving cream but maybe I best buy my own can. He may not appreciate me using his all up. LOL

  6. Karen, what a gorgeous card! I love this shade of blue and loved watching both the new and older tutorials on this technique. Guess I need to pick up some shaving cream and play. It sounds like fun! But truly, this is a beautiful card!! Hugs, gf!

  7. Thanks for the link, Karen. I did shaving cream marbling but this is a little different. I don't have reinkers but food coloring works just as well.

  13. What a bold card. I went to a friend's house for a card making session and she was trying out the shaving cream technique. I had to leave because she was using some cheap SCENTED shaving cream and it was killing me. AHHHchooo! I've been leery of the technique every since.
