Razzleberry Hello

I found a few 'snippets' today and made this card for a cas (clean and simple) colour challenge at SCS.  The challenge was to use only two colours....razzleberry and white.  Here is what I came up with.  Used my stamps from Hero Arts; stamped the leaves numerous times and added the sentiment, twine, button and half pearls.
Thanks for coming by and taking a look.

Colourful Garden

Hope you are enjoying the weekend.  It just seems to go by so fast.  I created this card quickly by colouring the flowers with Memento markers and spraying with water before stamping.  It gives more of a watercolour effect to the inks.  The colours of the flowers make me want to be out in my garden.
Thanks for taking a look.

Can We Be Friends??

A quick and easy card today....playing along with a challenge at SCS; to use a button.  Stamped those little guys with my Penny Black stamp and coloured using Copics.  I pieced the cat's hand to hang over the green paper.  Added the twine and button and rounded the corner.

Grunged Up

hi there,
Today I found some extra snippets of time....(hooray!! for a holiday in February), so I decided to create a masculine card and to play along with 2 challenges.  One is the CAS challenge at SCS; to use real or faux stitching (I used faux) and the one layer challenge OLW79, to see how many stamps you could use on one card...I used 8!
I used the Grunge Me set from PTI and stamped various times in the corner.  Added the sentiment and the faux stitching.
Thanks so much for taking a look.

Chiclectic-Moxie Fab

hi there,
Here is the inspiration photo for the Tuesday Trigger at Moxie Fab this week:

and here is the card I came up with........

Great way to use up scraps for sure.  I cut out squares that were 1 1/4" then rounded opposite corners with my corner chomper.  Cut the squares in half and added dimensionals on the back.
Thanks for taking a look!

A Little Birdie Told Me

hi there,
Here is a card I made a few weeks ago for a very special friend's birthday.  This card just reminds me of Spring.  I stamped the birdhouse and cut it out.  The grass was sponged with distress inks and I doodled in the grass lines.  You have to love it when a card turns out the way you saw it in your head.
Thanks for taking a look.

Masked Heart

Hi there,
Here is a card I made a few weeks ago for Penny Black.  My week has been a crazy one and I haven't found many 'snippet' of time to create...(insert frown).  I was very happy to get a mention of this card on Moxie Fab blog today.  I had entered it into a challenge to use a die cut or scissor cut paper.
I cut out a heart mask for bkg and sponged Distress Inks (Peeled Paint, Broken China, Tumbled Glass) stamped Zen with Peeled Paint then over stamped flowers and sentiment in black Memento ink.
Hope you have a great day and thanks for taking a look.

Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day to all. First, I want to thank so many people that have supported me and that have come to take a look at my new blog.....I am overwhelmed with your kindness and it is so very appreciated!!
Today's card is a simple one. I drew a heart, cut it out and mounted it onto a piece of white cs and cut it out again. Stamped the sentiment, then added the scoring lines on the bottom with my Scor-bug.  Think I will give this one to one of my boys.
Hug someone you love today. Thanks for taking a look.

Spring Time

It was a sunny day here in Ontario today...wanted to play along with the sketch challenge at Splitcoast Stampers and here is what I came up with.
First I punched 3 holes in the front panel, backed it with DP. I stamped the images and cut them out...pop dotted them in the circles for interest. Will be waiting for awhile for Spring to arrive here in Canada.
Thanks for taking a look.
