Happy Saturday!
The other day I picked up this die by Recollections for half price so time to make a card.
I wanted to make a simple masculine card and this is what I came up with.
I began with a piece of acetate again (the kind you get from you stamp pkgs), inked it with Distress Oxide ink, sprayed with water and pressed it onto the paper. The nice thing about the acetate is that you can manipulate and bend it and place the ink exactly where you want it to be.
When the ink was dry, I stamped the sentiment using my Misti and die-cut the deer head and the leaves.
To add extra texture to the deer head, I dry embossed it to give it lots of texture.
Thanks so much for coming by and taking a look.
Have a great wknd.
