Not sure what kind of paper you are usin...hi Elena,<br />Not sure what kind of paper you are using but that could be what's making the paper slick. I just use a heavy, white cardstock. If you apply the glue in lines down your cardstock there should be areas on your paper that will be 'bare' cardstock that the ink will stick to. I also have sprayed with water to help blend the colours. The raised or scored areas should be on the glue side of your paper as well so when you apply the inks, the glue will act as a bit of a resist. I guess all I can suggest is to try some different paper? and keep practicing. BUT the glue on the paper made the surface very slick and the distress inks did not come out very well. Also, the scoring is UP on the slick side...shouldn't it be down???
