As Summer Fades

Happy Sunday.  The weather here has been lovely all weekend...sunny, mild.  It is hard to think that summer is fading away and it will soon be fall.  My card is inspired by the colours of fall.
I am entering this card in a few challenges; the Featured Stamper challenge at Splitcoast, the OLW105 Autumn challenge at Cheryl's blog and the Focal Point challenge at Moxie Fab.  I masked the panel and then sponged on Distress Inks before stamping the Queen Anne's Lace with black and added the sentiment.
There is a weekend challenge going on at the Penny Black blog you will want to check out.  Some nice prizes to be awarded.

Supplies:  stamps; Penny Black/ pearls/ Distress Inks/ twine

  1. Lovely card, Karen. I love the composition - the way the sentiment sneaks into the coloured panel, and the flowers sneak out of it!
