Hello my friends. So sorry I have been MIA but it has been such a busy time with no a Snippet of time to craft. I did get time to play along with a few challenges today at Splitcoast. One was the CAS challenge..a sketch and the other was a TLC Make Polka Dots which are kind of hard to see on my card but I added them onto the leaves. Today is also the last day for the big challenges going on at Moxie Fab so I am entering this one in the Focal Point challenge. The stamp set I used for the flower is from Stampin Up and the sentiment is from Stampotique. Used Distress inks to colour the flowers and added the scoring and washi tape as well.
Hope you are having a great Monday....I am just so happy to have time to stamp.
Hope you can come back on Wednesday for the OLW as I am hosting this week.
Supplies: stamps; Stampin Up Mixed Bouquet, Stampotique/ Distress inks/ Washi tape/ pearls/ pop dots
EDIT ADDED: I was thrilled to find out that my card was a finalist in the Moxie Fab challenge seen HERE!!

Your card is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. I really like the way you added dimension to the flower and the black and white washi. Glad you got some time to create!
ReplyDeleteSo happy you got some crafty time in, Karen. Your card is so pretty ~ love the pink black and white colors together. Thanks for the washi tape idea (need to break mine out of the packages :)
ReplyDeleteYour rose is so pretty with the blended pinks. The ribbons you chose are lovely too.
ReplyDeleteThis is wonderful!! I have that set but it hasn't seen the light of day in ages because I've never made anything that I liked. But I LOVE what you have done with it!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! I really like that sentiment.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card, Karen. I like pink/black/white combination. I like how you added scoring to define the washi tape.
ReplyDeleteSO pretty! I'm a big fan of red/white/black...and of course polka dots! Win-Win all the way around! :)

ReplyDeleteOh, Karen, I am so glad you managed to stamp this beauty! This is one set I absolutely regret selling! And you keep making lovely cards with it! Oh, well. I can enjoy yours and figure out a way to CASE using another set. You always inspire me, GF!

ReplyDeleteYay, way to go, Karen, on winning the MF challenge! Stunning card!
ReplyDeleteGreat card! How do you get the ink to appear darker on the inside and fade as you get to the outer edges of the flower? I have tried with very little success. I may be contacted at lynn.wollenberg@frontier.com. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful rose, Karen! Congrats on the Moxie Fab win!
ReplyDeleteFantastic and pop up perfect. You had to love the write up explaining why it is so fan tab ulous. Congratulations :) Well deserved and earned.
