The Seashore

Today, I am featuring a card I made for the Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoast and the Create Your Own Background challenge at Moxie Fab
I created the two main panels on the side by inking my acrylic block with Distress inks and spraying with water before stamping. Using the same colours of blue and a smaller piece of cardstock, I simple applied ink directly from my pads onto the paper.  I then stamped the image from Inkadinkadoo, flicked water drops onto the piece and added some highlights by removing some of the ink on the image with my water pen.
Thanks so much for coming by and taking a look.

Supplies:  stamps; Inkadinkadoo, The Craft's Meow/ Distress inks/ pop dots/ acrylic block

  2. Hi Karen, I love the background you've created, and the colours are beautiful. TFS your technique, I got distress inks for christmas and have only done basic colouring with them but you've inspired me to try more :)
