Beautiful Blues

Meet today's card.  I definitely have flowers on the brain lately.  Everytime I sit down to make a card these days, I grab for my flower stamps and my blue inks....aahh....love.  When I saw the Colour Challenge at Splitcoast yesterday, I was in HEAVEN.  I didn't have the exact colours that the challenge showed, so I improvised and used my Distress inks in the colours that came closest.
I started by using a stencil and gesso to create the circle backdrop.  The strip at the bottom was made by inking my Hero Arts stamp with Distress inks then spraying with water to blend.  I added it to my card on the diagonal for interest.  The flower was also watercoloured with Distress inks, cut apart and pop dot mounted for interest.

Also adding my card to this challenges:
Little Red Wagon- YEARNING for SPRING
CASology- PAINT

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I really appreciate it!

Supplies:  stamps- SU, Hero Arts, Studio G/ gesso/ stencil from TCW/ Memento black ink/ Distress ink
