It's Monday morning and a holiday for us here in Ontario, Canada today. Last month, our One Layer Wednesday team decided to start a blog. Before that time, each one of us would take turns posting a challenge every Wednesday on our blog to create a one-layer card. Some of you found it hard or confusing to find the challenges so now it is all in one place and the bonus is that you have the whole month to create a card. If you haven't checked it out or played along with us yet go here:
Today's card began for the challenge at Splitcoast; to repeat an image to make a border.
I just bought the Brush Strokes set from Hero Arts and had such a fun time stamping the paint splotches and splatter with their Neon ink. After stamping the border, I added some scoring lines to define the area then added the arrow, sentiment and some shiny half pearls for good measure. It has pink but I think this would make a great card for a guy.
I am adding my card to these challenges:
Hero Arts- BIRTHDAY RAINBOW
One-Layer Simplicity- CAN YOU REPEAT THAT
Less is More- MASCULINE
Keep it Simple- TROPICAL
CAS on Sunday- MASCULINE
Thanks for dropping by and taking a look.
Supplies: stamps-Hero Arts, Daisy Bucket/ ink-Neon HA/ scoring tool/ twine/ pearls
