Splatter and Spritz

Splatter and spritz....I love playing with my Distress inks as you already know.  Today at Splitcoast, I am inspired by the challenge and the vase pictured below.  I began by stenciling a border by sponging Salty Ocean Distress ink over a piece of drywall tape.  The hexagons are made by inking up some scraps of paper with more ink.  I rubbed Salty Ocean and Peacock Feathers onto my acrylic block, sprayed with water and pressed that onto my paper.  When the scraps were dry, I cut them into the hexagon shapes and mounted them using pop dots.  The sentiment is from Daisy Bucket.

I am adding my card to these challenges:
Moxie Fab- HAPPY FOR HEXAGONS
Less is More- MASCULINE
CASology- BOLD

Hope you have a great weekend and thanks for taking a look.

Supplies:  stamps-Daisy Bucket/ drywall tape/ Distress ink/ die-Dienamics/ acrylic block/ pop dots
