Spring Parade

Good morning.  Hope Spring is arriving in your area.  It has been teasing us here where I live.  We still have snow but I can see signs of life starting in my gardens.  Can't wait to see the tulips.
Today, the challenge at Splitcoast is to use something from your stash that is at least a month old but has not been used before.  Right away, I thought of this stamp from Penny Black called Promise Me.  Isn't that a great name for the promise of Spring?  When I saw this stamp, it just screamed watercolouring to me so I coloured the flowers with Memento markers and sprayed with water before stamping to give a watercoloured look.  The sentiment is a super old one from PB, love the font.

Adding my card to these challenges:

Thanks so very much for coming by and taking a look.

Supplies:  stamps; Penny Black/ Memento markers/ mini mister/ Bl Memento ink

  1. Gorgeous! Beautiful stamp image, and I adore all your watercoloring on all of your cards - it's done so well! I always manage to spray too much water, and no matter how hard I try, I end up with a dribble or splat where it's not supposed to be almost every time. Your cards are wonderful, and while I don't always comment on each one, I do stop by to gawk. :)
