All Inked Up


Morning.  Thanks for bearing with me while I pursue my new obsession of inking my embossing folders.  I guess they have sat idol for so long that I am thrilled to have a new use for them.
I began this card by inking my folder with Distress inks in Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade and Ripe Persimmon.  I sprayed with water then pressed my paper into the wet ink.  When it was dry I stamped the sentiment from Penny Black.  It needed something more so I cut out a heart and pierced the edges for interest.

    Really like this card. Your color choices are always so spot on! Thanks for reminding me there are other ways to use the embossing folders! I need to give this technique a try!
