Happy Mother's Day

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to all you great MOMS out there.  It is such a special day!

I lost my Mom years ago but wanted to make a special card for my MIL that was pink and pretty.  So, I inked up my embossing folder with Distress inks in these colours, Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick and Picked Raspberry, sprayed with water then pressed my paper into the wet ink.  It made the perfect background for my tag and my rolled roses.
The tag was die cut, stamped, then I sponged on some Worn Lipstick before removing it from the Die-namics die.  The roses are also from Die-namics and are so easy to make.  Wasn't sure how I wanted to add a bow so instead added some dark pink jute that I looped under the flowers and the leaves.

Also adding my card to these challenges:

Simon Says- Spring Flowers

Keep It Simple- WATERCOLOUR

Get Inky Challenge- FLOWERS FOR MOTHER'S DAY

Hope you have a wonderful day and thanks so much for coming by and taking a look.

Supplies:  stamp- Impression Obsession/ SU eb folder/ Die-namics dies/ Distress ink/ jute/ pearls
