Good Morning. There is nothing more special then a new little arrival so today's Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoast was just what I needed to get going making a baby card for a friend. I was inspired by the colours in this framed picture:
I wanted to make the background look like a little quilt so I used a Spellbinder die to cut the squares and mounted them into a quilt pattern. I stamped the sentiment then added the baby with pop dots that was coloured using watercolour pencils.
I am adding my card to these challenges:
Simon Says- ANYTHING GOES
Addicted to Stamps- MAKE YOUR MARK
Craft for Craic- SOMETHING FOR BABY
Cute Card Thursday- BLUES AND HUES
Have a great weekend and thanks so much for coming by and taking a look.
Supplies: stamps- Studio G, digital image/ designer papers-various/ bl. Memento ink/ Spellbinder die/ watercolour pencils/ pop dots
So cute!!
