Good Morning. Love hanging out with you on a Sunday morning and having time to play. Here is a card inspired by the Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoast.
The background for my card is created using a Gelli Plate. For those of you that may have never heard of a Gelli Plate before, it is a gel-like plate that you add paint to then press paper onto it to create a print. When you place a stencil or other recycled objects on the plate, it removes some of the paint so you are left with impressions and combined colours. It can be very addictive and I haven't nearly had enough time to play with it. The butterfly from Penny Black is called Soft Wings. I coloured it with Memento markers, sprayed with water to help the colours blend then stamped and cut it out. I chose colours to highlight the bkg. colours in the gelli print. Isn't that a great sentiment? It is also from Penny Black and is called ....the butterfly.
Adding my card to these challenges:
Shopping Our Stash- CRITTERS
