Morning. A simple card today with a fun technique I hope you will get a chance to try. You know all those little stamps that sit in the drawer because you don't know what to do with them?
Well, I have a great idea for you today.....stamping over a stencil.
Here is what I did. I placed my stencil from Gourmet Stamps over my paper, masked the edges and using a variety of little stamps randomly picked from my stamping drawers, I stamped away using Peacock Feathers and Salty Ocean Distress inks. I then went back in and inked gently over the stencil to define the areas ever more. By stamping first, it gives a wonderful depth that could not be achieved by inking alone.
I then went back in and stamped the flowers using black Memento ink. I love this little sentiment from the Stampin Place; stamped it in black as well.
Adding my card to these challenges:
Addicted to CAS- MASK
CASology- MONOCHROMATIC
Addicted to Stamps- MAKE YOUR MARK
Sweet Stampin- FLOWERS
Suzy Bee's Blooming- ANYTHING GOES/ MONOCHROMATIC
That's it for now. Thanks so much for coming by and taking a look.
Supplies: stamps- Stampin Place, Unity, other random stamps/ Memento ink/ Distress ink/ Stencil
inking tool
