Good Times

Morning.
A quick card this morning as I am playing along with the CAS challenge at Splitcoast.

Isn't this a great flower.  So many different colours could be used to add interest but I went for the sunny yellows and orange.
I stamped the flower with Versamark ink onto my watercolour paper, then heat embossed with white.  I  I sprinkled Brusho over that and sprayed with water to watch the magic happen.  Love the rich tones it created with little to no effort.
When it was all dry, I stamped the sentiment using my MISTI.  It is such a super tool for stamping over a painted surface as it takes a few times stamped to get a nice, crisp sentiment image.

I am adding my card to these challenges:

Addicted to Stamps- SUMMER COLOURS

Scribble and Scrap- ANYTHING GOES

The Craft Place- ANYTHING GOES

Brown Sugar- IN THE GARDEN

Crafter's Cafe- ANYTHING GOES

Hope you have a great week.  Thanks so very much for coming by and taking a look!

Supplies:  stamps:  STAMPlorations, Sandi Miller/ Versamark/ Brusho/ Memento bl ink/ MISTI/ white EB powder/ heat gun

  6. Awesome card design. I wish I could play with stuff too, but with a four year old around I tend to keep lots of things under wraps. However, we did do some card making together and he painted with his paints. LOL
