Good Morning.
I lost my mojo over the last few weeks. Guess that's what happens when you are super busy.
I am back today, with a simple card that celebrates the final days of summer and I am playing along with the challenge at Splitcoast.
I love inking my stamps using marker so I coloured directly onto my stamp using Memento markers, sprayed with water and stamped onto my watercolour paper. Love the watery, loose feel the water gives by blending the colour. The flowers looked a bit flat, so I took the tip of my markers and pressed it onto the wet watercolour paper. It left a lovely impression and gave the flower centres some definition. I inked up the sentiment and used my MISTI to get a deep, dark impression.
Adding my card to these challenges:

Love the water colored effect you created with your markers on these pretty blooms, Karen! Beautiful color palette, too! Thanks so much for playing along with us this week at ATSM!
ReplyDeleteThis is awesome and makes me so happy! This technique is why I'm sad that my water based markers are all drying up. You can't do this with copics!
ReplyDeleteTry dipping your marker tips in a small puddle of Ranger refresher!
