Good morning.
Let's talk Washi tape.
It all seemed good at the time I bought it. Pretty colourful patterns and designs. I have some rolls of it but it sits in a bag as I try and figure out how to use it on my cards.
Well, today, out came the washi tape when I saw this sketch challenge at Splitcoast.
I often struggle with sketch challenges but this one was an easy one.
I began by sticking the washi tape onto a piece of cardstock in a herringbone pattern. When I was happy with the design, I cut it out and glued it onto my card front.
I stamped the sentiment from The Old Island Stamp Company then pierced the border.
Simple, colourful and quick.
And now I have found a use for my washi tape.

ReplyDeleteVERY pretty, great use of washi tape!! I love washi but for some reason have a hard time using it (weird, huh?) I too am going to pin this idea. I think I need to start a Pinterest board for just washi ideas :)
