Snow and Ice.
That's what I have got at my house.
I am playing with a simple technique and my favourite stencil from Simon Says.
I began by laying my stencil over my paper and pressed my Versamark pad directly over the stencil. I then heat embossed that with clear embossing powder.
Next, I sprinkled Brushos over the top and sprayed with water to activate the colour crystals.
I then cut the panel using a curved die from SSS and mounted to the front of my card. I stamped the sentiment from Stampin Up and punched it out. I pop dotted that over a snowflake I cut using a die also from SSS and added a blue rhinestone.
Adding my card to these challenges:

Gorgeous, I want the 2 SSS dies you've used! Karen xxx
ReplyDeleteNeat look! We are to get some snow today too!
ReplyDeleteLOVE this design! The embossed brushos panel is gorgeous all on it's own, but adding that curved spacing and pretty large snowflake takes it over the top. Ummm ... can you send some snow our way?? I really have missed it this year. xx
ReplyDeleteIt certainly looks like snow and ice....beautiful card :)
ReplyDeleteYour background is so pretty. What a fantastic technique....brushos are really fun to play with. Thanks for joining us at Just Us Girls!

ReplyDeleteTusen takk for at du deltar hos Card and Scrap.
That background is gorgeous! Beautiful results with the embossing and Brushos. Love the cut with the curved die and the big snowflake with the sentiment. I think I need to put Brushos on my list. Thanks for playing with us at JUGS!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous one too! I love this technique, use it all the time - so much fun with those great big snowflakes!! :)
ReplyDeleteThis is a perfect depiction of snow and ice! I'm going to hide under my comfy comforter now. Call me when it's summer.
ReplyDeleteOMG Karen, you are blowing me away with all your gorgeous cards. I love your technique of heat eb thru a stencil (I have not tried) and then using EB resist with your brushos. Have not tried that either!!! I see new techniques in my future. TFS and always inspiring us my friend. Hugs, Nancy
