Happy Saturday!
Today, I am playing along with the challenge at Splitcoast. We are being inspired today, by a Nail Art Board on Pinterest. What a fun way to be inspired.
The picture that inspired me showed nail art done with peacock feathers so I pulled out this stamp from Technique Junkies and got to inking.
First, I masked the edges of my white cardstock with painter's tape. I always stick it onto my clothes first a few times before sticking it to my paper to remove some of the adhesive. That way, it won't rip my paper when I remove it.
I placed the stamp inside my MISTI, then painted some Brushos mixed with a tiny amount of water, over the stamp. By using my MISTI, I was able to stamp, add more colour and stamp again.
While the piece was still wet, I took a wet paint brush and pulled some of the colour into the white areas. So easy to do when you are working with the Brushos. I removed the tape and mounted the piece on some coordinating coloured cardstock.
I am adding my card to these challenges:
