Meet today's card.
Sometimes leftovers can be good.
Today I am using up another piece of cardstock that I had marbled to create my flowers. Here is the link to the tutorial if you missed it.
I often create backgrounds then don't know what I want to do with them at the time, so I put them aside for future use. Glad I found a use for this piece.
I stamped the flowers from Stampin Up onto the marbled paper using Versamark ink, then heat embossed them with white powder. Next, I fussy cut them out and set them aside.
Using a piece of drywall tape, I stenciled a panel with Salty Ocean Distress ink to use as a background panel for my flowers. I die-cut some flowers from Tim Holtz in white and placed them behind the flowers keeping my card simple and monochromatic. I added a clear crystal to the flower centers to finish off my card.
