Moments Make Memories


 HAPPY CANADA DAY!

So happy to have some time to play today.  Playing with some sunny, bright colours hoping that the sun will come out and shine on all the Canada day festivities.

Not long ago, I picked up this pretty stencil from STAMPlorations and wanted to play with it.
I laid it onto my paper and rubbed Spiced Marmalade, Ripe Persimmon, Mustard Seed and Mowed Lawn Distress ink over the top with an applicator tool.  
To add more interest to the flowers, I splattered some black acrylic paint over the flower centers.  I think it helped the flowers 'pop' a bit and helped make them more of a focal point.
When that was dry, I took a piece of drywall tape and randomly stenciled in the background.  Sponged the edges lightly with more orange then stamped the sentiment.
