The Flower Challenge Reminder

 Morning.

We are half way through December and it's time for another card for The Flower Challenge.
This month our challenge is to use an older stamp, stencil or die.

I am using my older stamp from Unity again today to create this anniversary card.
I began by creating the background using the Embossing Folder Inking Technique.  I rubbed Distress inks over the front part of my embossing folder, sprayed with water and pressed my paper onto the folder.  It is a great way to get more mileage from something you already have in your stash too!

I placed the flower stamp from Unity inside my Misti and stamped with black Memento ink then stamped the sentiment from Rubber Stampede and done.

Please come and play along with us!!

Adding my card to these challenges:

  2. That technique comes out so perfectly for you, Karen. Mine usually looks sloppy. It made a beautiful background for the silhouetted flowers.
