Blue Skies- The Flower Challenge

Good Morning.

It's time for another card for

http://theflowerchallenge.blogspot.ca/

You still have time to play along so come and check out the amazing cards and join us.

For my card, I began placing the flower stamp by Unity into my Misti, inked it up with Adirondack Currant ink and stamped.  I clear heat embossed the flowers then inked my background with Salty Ocean and Peacock Feathers Distress inks.  For some reason, the embossed flowers ended up having a bit of a halo around them which I loved.
To add interest to my background, I laid a stencil from The Crafter's Workshop over my inked background and randomly sponged with water.  The water lifts the Distress inks which are
water-based.  I also randomly stamped the text from Hero Arts over the background with Faded Jeans Distress ink.
I stamped and white heat embossed the sentiment by Studio G then finally splattered with water and white acrylic paint.

Adding my card to these challenges:

Simon Says Wed.- FOR A SPECIAL LADY/GIRL

Crafty Cardmakers- FOR A SPECIAL WOMAN

CASology- FOLIAGE

Thanks so much for coming by and taking a look.

Supplies:  stamps-Unity, HA, Studio G/ ink- Adirondack, Distress, Versamark/ wh acrylic paint/ stencil- TCW/ sponging tool/ white eb powder
