Pink and Green- CAS Watercolour Challenge

Meet today's card.

Like I had mentioned on yesterday's card, I just picked up this great set of flowers from Altenew and wanted to do a loose watercolouring using them again.
I really like the whimsical look of these flowers and they were super simple to paint.
I began by placing the flowers inside my Misti, inked with Memento black ink and stamped onto watercolour paper.  Then using my Zig markers, I watercoloured the flowers with pinks and greens using a wet paintbrush.  
When that was dry, I stamped the sentiment using more Memento black ink and my Misti.  I scribbled my green Zig onto my acrylic block, sprayed with water and used that to splatter some green onto my background.
To help pull the whole design together, I doodled in a border around the outside edge.  I think the border helps with the whimsical look of the flowers.

    Fun and whimsical loose watercolouring image, Karen. I love how you added your splatters and doodled border. Your border really pulled your flowers together for a more finished look. TFS my friend Hugs.

    Beautiful card! Your zig markers...are they just regular zig markers that spread so nicely on eater color paper? Love being able to use my markers.

      That should be water color paper, certainly not eater color paper!
