Nature is Painting- CAS Watercolour Challenge

Hello.
It's time for another new and exciting challenge at the

Our theme this month is an easy one for this time of year:

We are also celebrating our
1st YEAR BIRTHDAY!!!!
There are great prizes to be won too so come and play with us!!

Prizes
$25 Gift Certificate to Simon Says Stamp for Challenge Winner
&
$25 Gift Certificate to Simon Says Stamp for one random draw of all entries
(must follow rules to be eligible for prizes)

So onto my card.
I began by masking the edges of my card front with Painter's Tape then using my Misti, I stamped the leaves and the baby's breathe and clear heat embossed them.  I did that so they would resist the ink when I added it over the top and not muddy up my images.  I did the same thing for the sentiment too.
To add the colourful background, I sprinkled some Brushos onto an acetate sheet (the kind that stamps are backed onto), sprayed with water to activate the pigment and used that to apply the colour over the leaves.  Since the acetate is so thin, I could bend it and place the ink down where I wanted it to be on my card front.
I removed the taped edges and simply mounted it onto a white card front.

Thanks so much for coming by and taking a look.
I hope you will check out the challenge with the chance to win and take a peek to see what my other talented team mates have created.  We also have a very talented guest this month, Marcia from Marcia's Stampin' Pad.
