Venture into the Woods

Good Morning.
Meet my clean and simple card for the holidays.

I began by pulling out a piece of inky paper that was leftover in my stash.  I like to keep inky leftovers as you never know when they will come in useful.
I had created that by applying a coat of Gesso over a stencil, let it dry then inked it up with Distress inks.  I thought it looked like an abstract form of snow so decided it worked as part of the scene.
I die-cut the Stitched Dome, the deer and the tree and put it all together to create my little scene card.
To help further the feel of winter and snow, I dry embossed the top of my card, stamped the sentiment using my Misti and done.

Thanks so much for coming by and taking a look.

  6. At first I thought your backing paper was a piece of gingham and thought how ordinary for you but then I saw what it was. Gingham or no, it is a lovely wintery card.
