Welcome.
Today, I have a card for our new challenge at the
We have a fun theme to be inspired by this month; Rainbow
We are welcoming our guest this month as well, Hannelie (Desert Diva).
To create my card, I began by making a monoprinted background.
I rubbed Distress Oxide inks onto my stencil, starting with the lightest colour at the top and moving down to the darkest at the bottom, sprayed with water to help blend the colours and pressed onto my paper. When I lifted up the stencil, I was left with this wonderfully rainbow coloured background.
I dried the piece then placed it into my Misti. I inked up the stamp from the Unity set and stamped it onto my rainbow background. I stamped the sentiment then simply mounted it all onto a white card front.
I hope you will come and play along with us. I'm sure we will have such a wonderful, colourful gallery this month.
