Monochromatic- The Flower Challenge

Good Morning
Time for a new theme at

Create a monochromatic card.

My card was very simple to create.
I started by using the Splash Watercolour Technique to create the background.  Basically, you rub ink onto a non-stick surface, spray with water and 'slap' your cardstock into the wet ink.
I used Distress Oxides in blues, keeping my card base monochromatic.
* I dry my inks between applications so I won't end up with a muddy colour*
When that was dry, I die-cut the background using a Wonky Stitched die from Avery Elle.
Next, I placed the piece into my Misti and stamped the flowers and the sentiment with Faded Jeans DOX.  I stamped the flowers again using Peacock Feathers to add some shadowing to the flowers.
I mounted it onto white keeping it clean and simple.

Thanks so much for coming by and taking a look.  I hope you check out this fun challenge.
