Good Morning.
Time for a summertime card and besides, who wouldn't love relaxing on a beach somewhere.
This card was super easy to create using images from a sweet Penny Black set called Summer Fun.
The set is filled with fun, summer images just perfect for creating little vignettes.
I began by creating my background. You can see my Mini Pictorial here about how I did it
When that was drying, I stamped the chair and the flip flops, fussy cut them out and then coloured them using my Copic markers. I stamped the sentiment, then pop dotted the chair and flip flops over the beachy background.
Using my ScorPal, I scored a frame around the panel which helped give it a bit more presence.
Hope you are enjoying your summer.
Thanks so much for coming by and taking a look.

ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous seaside card Karen - love the wonderful warm colours in the deck chair and flip flops. I am just starting to wear my flip flops again, as spring is gradually beginning here in the antipodes.
