One- Layer Stenciled- The Flower Challenge

This month we are creating One Layer cards

My one layer card came together quickly.
I have wanted to pick up this wonderful stencil set from Altenew forever and was pleased to have a chance to play with it.
I laid the stencil on my card front and masked using some Post-It Tape, then applied Distress Oxide inks over different areas of the stencil until I was happy with the results.
This is a two-step stencil where you ink the base in first, then add the overlay with other colours on top of that.
I added a birthday sentiment from MFT and done.

Stamps- Handwritten Happiness (MFT)
Inks- Tuxedo Black Memento= DOX-Peacock Feathers, Spiced Marmalade, Candied Apple,
Peeled Paint, Bundled Sage
Paper- heavy white
Accessories and Tools- Altenew Layered Dahlia stencil A & B= foam applicator (TH)= Post-It tape=

    This is so gorgeous. You know I think I have those stencils or some similar that I should use too. I got them quite some time ago and have not added any ink to them yet. Time is so limited for crafting these days so it may still be a while before I get around to using them. But I certainly love the way you have inspired me with your gorgeous design.
