Welcome
Time for another card for the
I went with a very simple card design.
I began by masking my card front using some Post-It Tape then started add my inks with an old credit card. I called this technique Swipe Your Credit Card and it is a very simple way to add ink to create a background and give the look of watercolour.
I rubbed the edge of my credit card into some Peacock Feather Distress Oxide inks that I had diluted with water on my non-stick craft mat, then dragged it from the edges inwards onto my cardstock. I repeated that process with some Seedless Preserves and some Salty Ocean DOX.
There was still some ink left on my craft mat, so I picked it up using a piece of acetate and pressed that over my inked background to add extra interest.
When the piece was dry, I stamped the trees then I removed the mask and stamped the sentiment using my Misti.
I hope you will come and play along with us.
Thanks so much for coming by and taking a look.
