Crisp Morning

Meet today's card.

A very simple CAS one layer card created using this great stamp from Serendipity.
Here in Ontario, we have the day off so I was happy to have some time to stamp.

This morning at Splitcoast, the challenge was to create a 'thirds' card, stamp just on a third of your card base.

So here's how I created my card.
I began with a plain white card base and masked an area top and bottom with some Post-It tape.
I then inked up the scene with black Memento ink and stamped.  Using some diluted DOX inks, I adds some colour to the buildings then using a small sponge dabber, I coloured in the sky.
I removed the tape used for masking, then scored a line on the edges of the inked area using my ScorPal then added a perforated line on either side of those.

Thanks so much for coming by and taking a look.

Adding my card to these challenges:
ScorPal- MORE THEN ONE SCORE
Not Just Cards- ANYTHING GOES
The Creative Crafters- ANYTHING GOES

Supplies
Stamps- Winter Homestead (Serendipity)
Inks- Memento black; Tumbled Glass, Festive Berries, Evergreen Bough (DOX-TH)
Paper- heavy white (Scribes Nook)
Accessories and Tools- ScorPal; ScorBug; paintbrush; mini sponge dabber
