Always Friends in Blue- CAS Watercolour Challenge

Welcome
I can't believe we have turned another page of the calendar but that means it's time for another fun challenge at the
Our theme this month is Something Blue.

Guest Designer:  TaeEun (rainbow in November)

So you have to know that this challenge is right up my alley!!

So onto my card details.
I began with a piece of heavy white cardstock and secured my Rectangle Mask over it as I wanted to be left with a clean, white border when finished.
I wrapped my acrylic block with some elastic bands, then inked it up with some Tumbled Glass and Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide inks, sprayed with water and stamped.
Here is a picture of what my block looked like wrapped with the elastics:

Next, I placed the piece into my Misti and inked up the Silhouette Leaves with some Mermaid Lagoon DOX ink and stamped to the side.  I sponged the edges to define the stamped area with some Tumbled Glass DOX then added the sentiment using my Misti again.
I removed the mask and scored around the inking with my ScorPal to add a framing effect.
I mounted the piece onto a piece of blue cardstock then onto a plain white card base.

Thanks so much for coming by and taking a look.
