Welcome
What a fun month we have had at the
We are celebrating another wonderful friend's birthday.
Happy Birthday to Bonnie
Our theme is Bouquet of Flowers; add one to your watercoloured card.
This month we also welcome our talented guest Leslie from Running With Scissors.
So onto my card details.
I began with a piece of plastic kitchen wrap (leaving all the folds and wrinkled areas on it) and rubbed some Cracked Pistachio, Tumbled Glass and Peacock Feathers directly over that.
I gave it a spritz of water to blend, then pressed my paper into the wet ink. It left behind such a pretty design on my paper and was so quick and easy to do.
Next, using the new Stitched Circle die from PB, I cut a circle in the centre of my card front. I mounted that over my inked background and added a few die-cut wildflowers.
I stamped the sentiment then glued it onto a piece of light green, then onto a plain white card base.
Thanks so much for coming by and taking a look.

There you are with your beautiful blues and greens -- my favorite color combo for watercolor or blended backgrounds. A lovely card, Karen! We've been away camping so I'm just now able to check in. I could do Instagram on my phone, but not blogs. I sure did get behind!
