Autumn's Arrival

Hello and Welcome.
With the weather changing and the crisp mornings, Autumn is in the air.
I decided to make a Fall card after reading about the TLC Challenge over at Splitcoast Stampers.
The challenge was to 'stencil smoosh'.  Basically, you ink up the back of a stencil as you would for making a monoprint, spray with water and press onto areas of your card.  The challenge was to use at least 3 stencils, overlapping them.

So, I grabbed 3 of my stencils and got to work.
I began by inking up the back of my Messy Dot Grid stencil with some Fossilized Amber DOX ink, sprayed with water and pressed onto areas of my card.  Next, I did the same with the Fleur Grillwork stencil and some more of the same ink.  I also cleaned off the ink left behind on that stencil right onto my card front.  Lastly, I inked up the Simple Grid stencil with some Carved Pumpkin ink and applied it to areas overlapping the first stencil impressions.
When that was dry, I placed the piece into my Misti and stamped the flowers and the sentiment.
I simply mounted it onto a heavy white card base.

Thanks so much for coming and taking a look.
