Shaped Cards- The Flower Challenge

Good Morning
Today is the first new theme this year at

This month we are using some of the gorgeous images created by

She is also our Guest this month and has offered a prize of two of her lovely digital designs for our lucky winner!  She has some really beautiful designs in her store.  If you click on her name above, it will take you there.
Our design team will be using some of them for their shaped cards this month too!

So onto my card details.
I needed some thank-you cards for some of the wonderful gifts I received at Christmas so
I began by printing out this beautiful digital frame from Alex, onto a piece of heavy white cardstock.
Next, I cut it down into the shape I wanted and coloured it using my Copic markers.
The shape I chose was a pretty simple one.

When I was done colouring, I placed the piece inside my Misti and stamped the sentiment using some Versafine Clair ink.  I mounted the piece onto some matching green cardstock that I cut into the same shape as my inked piece and then onto a heavy white card base.

Here are some of my favourite card from last year, created for The Flower Challenge.

Thanks so much for coming by and taking a look.

Supplies
Stamps- Digital (Alex Syberia); Scripted Bold Sentiments (Pinkfresh)
Inks- Versafine Clair Noir; Copic markers
Paper- heavy white (Scribes Nook)
Accessories and Tools- printer; Misti (My Sweet Petunia)
