Good Morning
Isolation and having some free time has inspired my card making again.
So here is another card I made using some leftover acrylic paint that were sitting on my mat.
Like I have mentioned in previous posts, I hate to waste ink and paint. So after I was finished making this card, I had ink left over on my palette and mat. I didn't want it to go to waste, so I grabbed a credit card, picked up the ink with it and spread it randomly over my card front. If you find that the paint is beginning to dry a bit, just give it a spray of water and you will be good to go. With ink still on my mat, I picked up a small plastic cup and rolled the rim in the wet paint and pressed that over the inked background to add the circles for interest.
When the ink was dry, which took no time at all as it is spread so thin, I placed the piece into my Misti and stamped the flowers from Magenta and the sentiment from Penny Black.
I simply mounted it onto a piece of heavy white cardstock, then onto a white card base.
Thanks so much for coming by and taking a look.

Great use of your leftover paint - and a beautiful blend of colours. Love the wildflowers stamped on top, and such an appropriate sentiment for these times.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely love this piece! The colors are so springlike, happy and whimsical..just made me smile. Seems sometimes you don't don't to plan out a card...just go with all the leftovers and voila...a masterpiece! Interesting to see someone still using Magenta stamps...I'm sure I still have some, but no one seems to mention them anymore...
ReplyDeleteThank you...
