Etched Flowers

Good Morning
Meet today's card.
A really easy and fun technique used to create my card.
I've been playing along with the VSN challenges over at Splitcoast Stampers and this was one presented by Lydia.  She's done a video so I've included a link so you can see how easy it is to use this fun idea.
The technique is called Stamp Etching.

So onto my card details.
I decided to make a black and white card.  I always think black and white has such a visual impact and they look so elegant.
I began by placing a piece of heavy white cardstock into my Misti and stamped the Large Floral from Magenta, onto my panel and clear heat embossed it.
Next, using a Pigma marker, I added the little 'flicks' of black to the inner and outer edges of my flowers.  It's amazing how much it changed the look of the stamp!
When I was happy with the look of the flowers, I drew in a black border all around the edges to frame the piece out.
I die-cut the 'hello' sentiment 3 times, glued those together and then to the front of my card panel.
I mounted it onto a piece of black cardstock then onto a white card base.

Thanks so much for coming by and taking a look.
Have a good rest of the week.
