Pool Party

Hello my Friends.
I hope you are all keeping well and safe as we make our way through these times.
I have a fun, simple card for you today.
I hope it makes you smile.

So here are my card details.
  • I began with a piece of heavy white cardstock and place the Circle mask from A Colorful Life Designs over my paper.  These circle masks are various sizes, so I chose one that filled most of my card front.
  • Next, I layered the Primitive Batik stencil from A Colorful Life Designs over the circle mask, and rubbed on some Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers and a hint of Salty Ocean DOX inks using a blending brush.
  • I took the inked circle and die-cut a small circle from the center of the the panel.
  • I stamped the little fish from Your Next Stamp with some black Verafine Clair ink, then I used the matching die to cut it out.
  • I rubbed some of the same colours as mentioned above onto my non-stick craft mat and picked up the colour to paint in the fish.
  • When he was all dry, I glued it onto the small die-cut circle and repositioned it into the larger panel using pop dots.
  • I added some Glossy Accents over his goggles and some Nuvo drops coming from his mouth for bubbles.
  • I stamped the sentiment, then added the panel to a piece of matching blue cardstock, then onto a heavy white card base.

Thanks so much for coming by and taking a look.
