Hello and Welcome
Today's card features the new Presents stencil from A Colorful Life Designs.
A really fun one to create with and is just one of the releases.
So, here's what I did to create my card.
- I began by cutting a piece of white cardstock, laid it onto my Make Art Station and positioned the Presents stencil over that.
- Starting at the top, I inked it up in an ombre style using Distress Oxide inks. The colours I used from top to bottom are Picked Raspberry, Candied Apple, Barn Door, Fired Brick and a touch of Aged Mahogany along the bottom.
- I removed the stencil and splattered with my white Posca pen.
- Next, I used this fun Ho Ho Ho die that comes with the frame, to die cut directly from the inked panel.
- I glued the large panel onto a piece of white cardstock, then onto an A2 size card base.
- I popped the die cut pieces back into place over the panel.
- Lastly, I added 3 silver gems to add interest and a bit of shine.
Here is the stencil I used:

ReplyDeleteThis is a really unusual stencil, but it works so well just in red and white Karen, and the 'ho, ho, ho' is such fun over the top, cut from the piece but the white it is matted on to really makes it stand out. x
