Nature's Wonders

Welcome
A new month and I'm excited for the new releases from A Colorful Life Designs.
I paired up this gorgeous new Spring Foliage stencil with the new Flower Ball stencil to create my card.

So, here how I created my card.
  • I cut a piece of white cardstock and placed it onto my Make Art Station.  I positioned the Spring Foliage stencil over my paper.
  • Next, I diluted some Brushos with water on a piece of acetate.  Using a baby wipe, I dipped it into the Brushos and pressed over the stencil.  It gives a different look to the overall design using the diluted Brushos.
  • Leaving the stencil in place, I laid the Flower Ball stencil over that and inked it up with some Uncharted Mariner Distress Oxide ink.  By layering up the stencils, it gave an amazing look to my background.
  • I removed both stencils and splattered with my white Posca pen.
  • When the panel was dry, I placed it into my Misti to stamp the sentiment and clear heat embossed it.
  • I glued the finished panel onto a piece of black cardstock, then onto a light blue piece of cardstock and then onto a 4 1/4" square card base.
  • Lastly, I added 3 black gems around the sentiment.

Here are the stencils I used:
