Double Ginger Flowers

Welcome.
Today's card features this beautiful new stencil from A Colorful Life Designs called Double Ginger Flowers.
So easy to create different looks with the flowers on this stencil.

So, here's what I did to create my card.
  • I began by cutting a piece of white cardstock that was 3 3/4" square.
  • I found the center point of my panel and then placed the cardstock onto my Make Art Station.
  • I masked around 1/4 of the panel as I wanted to stencil 4 x's.
  • I turned the stencil around so the outside point of the Double Ginger Flower stencil was touching the inside middle of my panel and inked it up with some Broken China Distress Oxide ink.
  • To add shading to my flower, I inked with some Uncharted Mariner DOX ink right into the center area.
  • I repeated the above process 3 more times.
  • I splattered with my white Posca pen.
  • While that dried, I stamped the sentiment from Simon Says with some Uncharted Mariner and die cut it out.
  • I glued the stenciled panel onto a piece of white cardstock, then onto a 4 1/4" square note card.
  • Lastly, I added 3 silver gems around the sentiment.

Here is the stencil I used:

  1. This looks amazing Karen, and the four panels make one great big beautiful flower, and the two blues go together for a very pretty finish, and embellished perfectly with the white spattering and silver gems. x
