Good Morning
Today's card is just a simple, happy feeling one using the new for July stencil called Smiley Faces from
A Colorful Life Designs.
So, here's what I did to create my card.
- I began by looking through some of the backgrounds I had previously made and found this fun plaid patterned one. I had done it using the Markered Turnabout stamp. I thought the bright colours went perfectly with the smiles. It was stamped using Distress Oxide inks.
- I laid the plaid onto my Make Art Station and positioned the Smiley Faces stencil over it. I inked it using some black Memento ink.
- While that dried, I die cut the 'smile' sentiment from some black cardstock. This die doesn't come with a shadow/background so I traced around the die on some white cardstock and fussy cut it out to make my own.
- I glued the plaid panel onto a piece of pale lavender cardstock, then onto an A2 sized card base.
- I used some foam tape to pop up the sentiment.
