Garden Delights

Good Morning and Welcome
Today's card features the new for July stencil from A Colorful Life Designs called;

So, here's what I did to create my card.
  • I began with a piece of white cardstock and die cut it using the Postal Collage die.
  • Next, I placed that piece of white cardstock onto my Make Art Station and put the Around the World stencil over that.
  • Starting at the top corner, I inked my way across the cardstock with these Distress Oxide ink colours:  Fossilized Amber, Ripe Persimmon, Picked Raspberry, Peacock Feathers and some Villainous Potion.
  • I removed the stencil and stamped the postal spaces with the flowers using some black Versafine Clair ink.
  • I glued the stenciled/stamped panel onto a piece of pink cardstock, then onto an A2 sized card base.

Here is the stencil I used:

  1. Karen... you are so creative! Love how you used the background stencil. Just perfect with the wildflower silhouettes and the postage die. Such a great extension of each product! Thanks so much for joining and sharing at Just Us Girls this week.

  3. The silhouette flowers are perfect over the bright and busy, stenciled background Karen. Did you stencil while the card was still in the die, to get the 'white borders' by the perforations so even?
