Happy Christmastime

Good Morning
More snowflake fun as I play with this newly released stencil again from A Colorful Life Designs called

So, here's what I did to create my card.
  • I placed the Snowflake Grid stencil onto a piece of white cardstock and inked it up with some Uncharted Mariner Distress Oxide ink.
  • Next, I die cut it out with the Christmas Snowflake die and set aside.
  • I then took a piece of pale gray cardstock and inked up the Snowflake Grid again using more of the Uncharted Mariner DOX ink.
  • I glued the die cut snowflake (the white one that I had stenciled first) and glued it over the gray, matching up the pattern.
  • I glued that onto an A2 sized white card base.
  • I found a scrap of blue cardstock and die cut the small snowflake to glue over the center of the large coverplate snowflake.
  • Finally, I added the pre-printed sentiment with some foam tape right over the middle of the two snowflakes.

Here is the stencil I used:

  1. This is beautiful Karen and I love the pattern on the snowflake and then the snowflake grid stencilling in the background, but I couldn't quite figure out that the pattern on the die cut star looks much busier and I went for a look on the A Colorful Life site and the snowflake grid is different to the one you have put up under the card, so I am assuming that that was a different stencil which you used for the snowflake itself, and the dots and snowflake design in the background is the snowflake grid. Anyway that is by the bye as we would say..lol, and it is a beautiful card, and I love that Uncharted Mariner ink, such a rich blue tone. x
