Show Me the Sunshine

 

Good Morning

Meet our new mid-month stencil from A Colorful Life Designs called:


I wanted to make a sunny, bright card with this stencil so here's what I did to create my card.
  • I put a piece of white cardstock onto my Make Art Station and placed the Fractured Beams stencil over that.
  • Starting at the bottom right corner of the panel which was actually the center of the stencil, I inked it up with some Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide ink.
  • Next, I inked with some Ripe Persimmon and then finally inked along the outer edges with some Fossilized Amber DOX ink.
  • I moved the stencil slightly over and inked again with the same colours as mentioned above, creating this beautiful sunburst. (or I guess it could be a flower too)
  • I lifted the stencil off and splattered with my white Posca pen.
  • When the panel was dry, I placed it into my Misti and stamped the sentiment.
  • I added 3 black gems around the sentiment to finish my card off.

  3. This beautiful stylised sunray stencil looks great in those hot colours Karen, and the central sun is the perfect place to put the lovely sentiment, and finished with some pretty matching gems. x
