Round and Round We Go

Welcome

This little card was so fun to create using the new for May stencil from A Colorful Life Designs called:

So, here's what I did to create my card.
  • I took a piece of white cardstock and placed the Circle of Lines over it and inked just the center area of the stencil with some Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide ink. I repeated that same process 4 more times with these Distress Oxide Colours: Wilted Violet; Ripe Persimmon; Peacock Feathers and some Cracked Pistachio.
  • I splattered over the stenciling with my black Posca pen and set aside to dry.
  • Next, using my circle dies, I cut all the coloured stenciled areas into 2 sizes of circles.
  • Using another piece of white cardstock, I placed it onto my ScorPal board and scored lines across the whole panel. (So sorry that the scoring is hard to see on my card)
  • I arranged the circles onto my card front panel, overlapping them.  I used some foam tape to pop some of them up for interest.
  • I glued my card front panel onto a piece of black cardstock and then onto an A2 sized white card base.
  • I added black gems to the center of all the circles and then added the pre-printed sentiment over the middle with some foam tape.

Here is the stencil I used:

  7. What a lovely, colourful card. It's pushing a bit the idea of clean and simple, though. Thanks for joining us at Addicted to CAS.
